This horn is what we calla “closet find,” has seen minimal playtime, keeping it close to NEW condition. The Kanstul Factory closed its doors in September 2019. No new horns have been produced for over six years. The 1525 6 1/2” Copperbell Flugelhorn has achieved legendary status over the past four decades, being featured on recordings by distinguished artists such as Arturo Sandoval on the CD *Flight to Freedom*, Doc Severinsen on *Unforgettably Doc*, Herb Alpert on *Passion Dance* (track "Until We Meet Again"), Jerry Hey & Gary Grant on *Q’s Jook Joint*, and the late Claudio Roditi, who celebrated it as Zig’s Copperbell Masterpiece for over 30 years.
