One of the featured trumpets we showed at the ITG Conference was a 1603+ Wallace Roney model with a new finish combination. The brass is scratch-brushed, nickel slides are bright, all under a midnight blue lacquer. The effect is a contrast between the crisp, bright slides and the velvety look of the brushed brass. A striking horn in looks as well as sound!
