We’re planning to produce an ongoing series of videos on brass building, brass history, and instrument demos and reviews, titled Talking Brass. This first 2-part installment is a talk by Jack Kanstul on Zig’s work in developing the first modern marching mellophone, which began when he was head of R&D for F.E. Olds & Son in Fullerton, and led to the innovation of more playable, better sounding middle-voice horns for drum corps and bands. Check out Part 1 here.
