The Model 1523 trumpet features interchangeable tuning bells for D and Eb. Our Eb bell is conventional, giving the trumpet the authentic Eb sound and response desired by the orchestral artist. The D bell is from our no. 239 mandrel and offers a big, broad sound. Carefully balanced with a .453″ bore and responsive mouthpipe, this trumpet produces the strong, dark and expressive sound desirable for symphonic work. An optional Eb chamber bell is available for playing situations requiring a lighter touch.
