The Model 1500-A features a one piece hand hammered bronze bell from Kanstul's no. 7 mandrel, and is carefully balanced with a no. 25 mouthpipe and medium large bore.

The heavy mouthpiece receiver, weighted bell bow and weighted bottom caps offer increased projection and stability. This model includes two tuning slides: the weighted slide helps give the player more secure slotting, while the dual bore un-weighted slide helps the horn really sing in the upper register. I received my new Kanstul 1500A about a two weeks ago. I fell in love with the sound and response instantly!! It blows freely in all ranges and has the exact tone I want to achieve when playing various styles of Jazz. Thank you for building a solid horn.
