The trumpet speaks in a brilliant, martial and confident manner, as royalty speaks. Its early history is easily traced through the records of the kings, since it was a badge of royalty. Even the bible speaks of the seven archangels blowing trumpets of proclamation. Trumpets have long been used to herald or proclaim great events.
